About Emily

Dr. Batson is a native of Colorado Springs, being born at the Air Force Academy. She graduated from William J. Palmer High School and attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs prior to receiving her doctorate of dental surgery from Indiana University. She completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Fort Carson and was then stationed in Friedberg, Germany with the 1st Armored Division as a Brigade Dental Surgeon. Dr. Batson returned to Pueblo, Colorado following her military time, where she worked in both community health and private practice settings. She then pursued a certificate in Prosthodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her master’s degree in addition to her specialty certification. Dr. Batson returned to Colorado Springs in 2013 and has been in private practice since. Emily stays very active within the local dental community through numerous study clubs and board affiliations, and lectures nationally to other dental organizations. In her spare time Emily enjoys endurance sports and traveling with her family.
